Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Oslo Weather (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the App. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Oslo Weather regarding your use of the application.
App Usage Rules
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not: (a) use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations; (b) attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App's code; (c) use the App to distribute malware or harmful code; (d) interfere with the App's proper functioning; (e) attempt to access or scrape data from the App beyond normal usage parameters.
Weather Data Disclaimer
Oslo Weather provides weather forecasts and data for informational purposes only. The weather data is sourced from Open-Meteo, a third-party service, and is provided “as is” without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. You should not rely solely on the App's weather data for critical decisions such as travel, agriculture, safety, or any activity where weather conditions could pose a risk.
Accuracy Limitations
Weather forecasting is inherently imprecise, and actual weather conditions may differ from predictions. Oslo Weather does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any weather information displayed in the App. Forecast data may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable due to various factors including but not limited to: API outages, data source limitations, network connectivity issues, or the inherent uncertainty of meteorological predictions.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to the design, code, graphics, branding, and user interface, are owned by Oslo Weather. The Oslo Weather name, logo, and related trademarks are proprietary. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the App or its content without explicit written permission from Oslo Weather.
User Responsibilities
As a user of Oslo Weather, you are responsible for: (a) providing accurate information when using the App's features; (b) maintaining the security of your device; (c) ensuring your device meets the minimum system requirements; (d) complying with all applicable laws regarding the use of location services and notifications; (e) monitoring and managing your data usage, as the App uses internet connectivity to fetch weather data.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain continuous availability of Oslo Weather, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to: (a) scheduled maintenance and updates; (b) third-party API outages; (c) factors beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to network failures, server issues, or force majeure events. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the App at any time.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Oslo Weather shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. This includes but is not limited to: (a) reliance on weather data for decision-making; (b) loss of data or device functionality; (c) damages resulting from App unavailability; (d) any actions taken based on information obtained through the App.
Updates to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated terms within the App or on our website. Your continued use of Oslo Weather after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically. If you do not agree with any changes, you should discontinue use of the App.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Oslo, Norway. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
